DirMonitor permits you to watch every activity carried out in the folders, files, registry keys or processes you decide to monitor. Possible activities are deletion, modification and creation of folders or files and termination or activation for processes.

All actions will remain logged and encrypted by the program and can be reviewed lateron. These logs can be sent to an FTP Server or to an Email Address.The Log will include information about the kind of action, the date when the action occured and the user who did the action.

Password protection for both the log file, as the program is included. The latter enables you to prevent unauthorized users from closing DirMonitor.Besides the monitoring features, DirMonitor enables you to encrypt (using either Blowfish or Rijndael encryption) and wipe sensitive files.

Folders can be monitored as well. If you want, you can log changes in their subfolders too.

Creation and Deletion of Registry Values can be logged. This way, you can keep a watch on changes in Windows' © Registry.
Monitor Processes:
Log when and if a certain process is being activated or terminated. With DirMonitor it's also possible to prevent closure of system critical processes, s.a. your Virus Scanner, Firewall, ...
